2026年1月19日（月）より開始する仙台市主催の街路樹イルミネーション「SENDAI Bright-Nights STORY」において、AZUL Energyの提供する金属空気電池「Ferion（フェリオン）」を利用し、イルミネーションを点灯します。
この取り組みは、SENDAI BOSAI TECHの「実証実験・試作開発支援プログラム」に採択された「災害時に利用可能なハイブリッド空気電池システムの開発」プロジェクトの実証実験の一環として行うものです。
当イベントにおいて、AZUL Energyのハイブリッド空気電池システムが安全かつ長時間に渡り仙台の街をイルミネーションで輝かせることで、災害時においても有用であることを実証していきます。
Starting Monday, January 19, 2026, the City of Sendai’s street tree illumination event, SENDAI Bright-Nights STORY, will be powered by FERION, an innovative metal-air battery system developed and supplied by AZUL Energy.
This initiative is part of a demonstration project for the Development of a Hybrid Metal-Air Battery System for Disaster Applications, which has been selected under the SENDAI BOSAI TECH Demonstration and Prototype Development Support Program.
By safely and reliably supplying power to the illuminations throughout the event period, AZUL Energy’s hybrid metal-air battery system will demonstrate its capability to provide long-duration, stable energy. The project highlights the system’s strong potential as a dependable power solution for emergency situations and disaster response.
