AZUL Energy株式会社と、東北大学材料科学高等研究所 藪 浩研究室の合同チームは、二酸化炭素排出削減技術を競う懸賞型研究開発事業「TOKYO PRIZE Carbon Reduction」で、50を超える応募チームの中から入賞に選ばれました。藪研究室で発明され、AZUL Energyが社会実装を進める独自のレアメタルフリー触媒「AZUL触媒」を用いたCO₂の有効活用技術が評価されての入賞です。
A joint team from AZUL Energy Co., Ltd. and Professor Hiroshi Yabu’s Laboratory at the Advanced Institute for Materials Research, Tohoku University, has been selected as a prize winner in the “TOKYO PRIZE Carbon Reduction” competition, a research and development program focused on technologies to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Out of more than 50 participating teams, their entry was recognized for its innovative use of the proprietary rare-metal-free catalyst, the “AZUL Catalyst,” invented in Professor Yabu’s laboratory and being commercialized by AZUL Energy, to effectively utilize CO₂.
