当社は、2025年8月22日（金）に米ペガサス・テック・ベンチャーズ（本社：米国カリフォルニア州、代表パートナー兼CEO アニス・ウッザマン）が主催する世界最大級のグローバルピッチコンテスト・カンファレンス「スタートアップワールドカップ2025 東北予選」にて、200社を超えるスタートアップ企業のなかから優勝いたしました。
弊社は、AIデータセンターの電力課題に対し、高性能レアメタルフリー触媒AZULを使った新しい蓄電ソリューションを提案。2025年10月にサンフランシスコで開催される世界大会に日本代表として出場し、優勝を目指します。
■スタートアップワールドカップとは
スタートアップワールドカップは、米ペガサス・テック・ベンチャーズが主催する、世界最大級のグローバルピッチコンテスト・カンファレンスです。
世界75以上の国と地域で予選が繰り広げられ、毎年３万社以上のスタートアップ企業のエントリーの中から、各地域予選を勝ち抜いた代表企業が米国サンフランシスコでの世界決勝大会に参加し、優勝投資賞金100万米ドル（約1億5千万円）を掛けて競い合います。

On Friday, August 22, 2025, AZUL Energy won first place at the Tohoku Regional Competition of the “Startup World Cup 2025,” one of the world’s largest global pitch contests and conferences, organized by Pegasus Tech Ventures (Headquarters: California, USA; Founder and CEO: Anis Uzzaman). We were selected as the winner among more than 200 competing startups.
We presented a new energy storage solution that leverages our high-performance, rare-metal-free catalyst AZUL to address the growing power challenges of AI data centers. As the representative of Japan, we will compete in the global finals to be held in San Francisco in October 2025, aiming for the championship title.
About Startup World Cup
The Startup World Cup is one of the largest global pitch contests and conferences, organized by Pegasus Tech Ventures.
Regional competitions are held in more than 75 countries and regions worldwide. Each year, over 30,000 startups apply, and only the winners from each regional qualifier advance to the Grand Finale in San Francisco. There, they compete for a grand investment prize of USD 1,000,000 (approximately JPY 150 million).
